FF News
Having slipped to defeat at the hands of Alfreton Town in the FA Cup and Curzon Ashton in their last two games, Tamworth's enforced break last weekend means that they return with renewed vigor, according to the Lambs leading scorer, Elliott Durrell. “You can look at the break in two ways,” he said. “We lost the last two games, so some players want to get back out there and address that straight away. “But in some ways it was a welcome break for us as it gave us the chance to take stock, do a few different things and have a mini pre-season in many ways so that we can get back to where we were at. “It’s about pressing the restart button again and focussing on what we have been doing well. “We have worked hard in training, had some bonding time and now we are ready to hit the ground running for Saturday. “There is no better incentive for us than a home game against the League leaders.” Source: www.thelambs.co.uk Source
