FF News
Tamworth return to home action on Saturday as they play host to Gainsborough Trinity and will be looking to complete the double over their mid-table opponents, having won 2-0 at The Northolme in September. “It’s a big game,” said player-manager, Andy Morrell. “We are under no illusions that we have to start winning more of our games on home soil. “I want to see us get the ball down and be braver with our passing game. We’ve got the quality here to be able to do that rather than lumping it long. “Last weekend’s game at Stockport took a lot out of us. It was frantic out there and we came away with a few bumps and bruises. “We decided to give the players Tuesday off and then had a really good, positive session on Thursday. It’s about getting the balance right and hopefully it will stand us in good stead. “We’re looking forward to Saturday’s game and hopefully the fans will be right behind us from the off.” Source: www.thelambs.co.uk Source
