FF News
Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Trafford are backing a Christmas campaign to deliver presents to under-underprivileged children in their community. Proud officials announced on Monday that students at the First Division North club's academy will be actively supporting local Radio Station Key 103’s Mission Christmas initiative. Trafford teamed up with Flixton’s Wellacre Sixth Form College two years ago to launch their educational partnership and officials say fans can leave donations there at any time. Toys can also be handed over to the scholars who'll be at Shawe View when they host Northwich Victoria on Tuesday 1 December and Ossett Albion a few days later on Saturday 5 December. Key 103’s Cash for Kids is a local grant giving charity supporting children and their families affected by poverty, abuse, neglect, disability and life limiting illness. The Christmas campaign aims to support the one in three children across Manchester estimated to be living in poverty for whom Christmas is a luxury their families cannot afford. Last year, Manchester rallied with more than 2,000 businesses and 300 schools signing up to support the campaign, delivering £1.6m worth of toys to over 35,000 children.
