FF News
Wrexham defender Javan Vidal will need a groin operation, very similar to the one undergone by Mark Carrington in July. He pulled up during the warm up to the Gateshead game and today saw a specialist who confirmed the worst. This means the former Manchester City and Tamworth player is likely to miss 6/8 weeks, although he will have his operation tomorrow (Thursday). Since signing in the summer from the Lambs, he has played in 15 games and even scored our opener against FC Halifax Town. “This news is a blow to the player and the team,” said manager Gary Mills. “But at least we know the full extent of the problem and by having the operation immediately, Javan will be able to start on his recovery without further delay.” Source: www.wrexhamafc.co.uk Source
