A statement on their website read "Paul has decided to hang up his boots and pursue other football related interests. Everyone at the club would like to thank Paul for his efforts over the last few years as he has been influential both on the pitch and also off the pitch in helping raising the profile of the club. We all would to thank him for efforts and wish him the best of luck in the future.
