FF News
Vanarama National League South club Hungerford Town are awaiting the return of Irish winger Alan O'Brien to their squad. O'Brien, who spent time with Newcastle United and Swindon Town earlier in his career, is currently recovering from a long standing hernia injury, which resulted in a operation at the beginning of the summer. O'Brien also played for the likes of Hibs and Yeovil Town during his career and has five Republic of Ireland caps to his name. A statement on the Crusaders website confirmed the current situation regarding his recovery. It read "He is training and able to run in straight lines but turning is causing intense pain and hence the delay in recovery. It will be like having a new, dynamic player when he does return and further strengthen the Crusaders attacking options" Article: Mark Carruthers (@marknldaily)Image: www.actionimages.com Source
