FF News Posted October 24, 2017 Share Posted October 24, 2017 Following the departure of the current postholder, Bamber Bridge FC are seeking to appoint a qualified physiotherapist/sports rehabilitator to work with their first team squad on a part-time basis. Duties will include attending all first-team matches, along with twice-weekly training sessions, to provide medical treatment and to support the rehabilitation of players, including the development and monitoring of individual plans. (Additional hours outside of match-day and training sessions may be required – subject to the requirements of the club.) The suitable candidate will have a degree-level qualification in sports therapy, sports rehabilitation and/or physiotherapy. Previous experience of working in a physiotherapy/rehabilitation role in a football club would be advantageous, but is not essential. Applications are invited from both newly-qualified and experienced professionals. The post forms part of the club's coaching staff and therefore the successful candidate will be a strong team-player with excellent interpersonal skills. As part of the package, the club will provide the successful candidate 24/7 access to the club's dedicated treatment room, and they are particularly interested in hearing from candidates who would like to develop their own private sports rehabilitation/physiotherapy practice alongside working for the club. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle is a requirement of the post.
