Home draw or an away draw, it doesn't matter. What about the match expenses and traveling costs of the Referee and Linesmen, and if you are drawn against an Isle of Wight team then you have boat fares to take into consideration. They are not cheap so with out doubt most clubs will be losers this season.

Expenses are shared but with no paying spectators and a reduced prize fund it is probably cheaper not to have entered. ?

How about if you and all your colleagues waive your match fee and expenses for this season, that would be a really nice good will gesture in the current climate wouldn't it and if you personally are just allocated to venues such as Broadfields United, Edgware Town, Harefield United, London Colney, North Greenford United, Oxhey Jets, Wembley, Amersham Town, Enfield Borough, Hillingdon Borough, London Lions, London Tigers, New Salamis, Park View, Rayners Lane and St Panteleimon you wouldn't be too out of pocket as you can use your Oyster card for travel.

Common sense says the FA should appoint match officials locally.

Match fees in the early rounds pay very little anyway.

Everyone is struggling in football at the moment as the financial squeeze bites but hopefully the strict restrictions are eased soon and paying customers are allowed through the gate.
