A groundhopper from another Forum was at Chalk Lane last night:

Cockfosters 2-3 St Panteliemon
SSML Prem, Adm £10, Prog £2, Att h/c 72.

Pleasantly surprised this was on - pitch played reasonably well.
Fosters definitely unlucky here, totally on top early on leading in 20 with a header from a corner, with St P, still unbeaten away this season, equalising from virtually their first attack after the winger got to the bye line and crossed low for a tap in from close range. It was 2-1 in 1st half added time with an excellent shot from Fosters' No.11 into the top corner.
Fosters continued to dominate, having a number of chances including a double clearance off the line, but were again caught by a sucker punch on 73 when a corner was recycled back to the kicker, crossed in and eventually bundled in and the 2nd or 3rd attempt. Worse was to follow for Fosters on 83 when a very harsh pen was given for what looked like a genuine 50/50 challenge in the box & the pen was duly converted. The rest of the gamew descended into a bout of time wasting, 'game management' and niggly fouls, evidenced by 15 mins being added. 'Fosters No.4 picked up a 2nd yellow deep into the added time.
Didn't finish till 21:55 but just a 5 min walk home for me. Decent entertainment despite the result - I'm sure the group of 4-5 Germans (presumably groundhoppers?) seated near me enjoyed it.
