the last saturday looms and the summer beckons....

 

hazy days of butterflies and cricket.....hampers and pimms....wimbledon and cowes.....barbeques and beach parties.....

 

walks across the countryside with loved and cherished ones.....languid lunches at the riverside hostelries....

 

long walks home as the late summer sun sets into the western horizons.....

chins up ricay...its been a good season for you....new chairman who will take the club steadily forward....and invest in the infrastructure....

 

new manager last year who has undoubtedly learned a lot and will be wiser and shrewder for it.....

 

a brand new dawn come august.....

 

I wouldn't put me house on it but I reckon you'll be thereabouts....

 

odds on getting us in the trophy or FA cup.....
