How long are Slough here for?

How long are Slough allowed to stay at stag meadow and how long do they intend to stay?

I only ask this because for Windsor this seems to be pretty good at the moment, we get extra revenue when wouldn't normally, the two sets of fans are getting on reasonably well (considering it is Windsor and Slough!)and the pitch doesn't seem to be suffering. Both sides gates are slightly up due to there nearly always being a 'home' game on twice a week and the Sloug fans have been very supportive to the ground. I know Slough want their own ground and in the long run will get it, but is there any timescale they have to be out by? <img src="/images/graemlins/afro.gif" alt="" />

Fuzz, I understand that we are allowed to ground share for three years at the end of which we have to be able to show the league where our long term future lies. If at the end of next season we were able to say we own this plot of land here and have permission to build a ground on it then we would be allowed to ground share whilst construction takes place. I think.

I don't know how set in stone these rules are because I believe Epsom & Ewell and Banstead have been sharing for over a decade.

We do get on quite well. Obviously it is vital we have somewhere to play but the deal is more beneficial to you in terms of revenue etc and it does not really make sense for us to help fund a rival. From our point of view we would like a move asap but that is not meant to be a slight against Windsor and we certainly are grateful that Mr. Simpson was able to offer us the use of the ground and has been so supportive during our stay.

The rules are that you can share a ground with anyone as long as it for at least 3 years or by special arrangement like with Staines the other season.

Saying that, I am not sure how Wokingham got away with being with us for a year and then moving on.
