If the face don't fit... There was always a conspiracy theory about the Conference bosses not liking us when we were in the Conference all those years ago and didn't really help our cause to try and stay in it. How much truth there is in that, I don't know.

 

Seems a bit harsh on Northwich, but rules are rules and they were clearly laid out. If you can't meet the criteria, you shouldn't be allowed in the league.

Northwich had a reprieve from relegation in 2003/04 when they finished bottom. I don't like to see a club get kicked out of a league for non-footballing reasons, but they shouldn't have even been in the Conference last season

it happened to us ! Northwich had a year to sort it out, we got 7 days ! but of course they had someone on the management committee of the conference then .... one rule for them but other rules for the not so fortunate...

 

shame for the supporters....though..its not their fault...
