MISA AGM-- THANK YOU

What a very positive meeting tonight. Whatever happens in the next week or so, and whatever league we are in, someone else can post that news, the future looks very good regards the Supporters Club. I for one did not know how much hard work has been put in by the Committeee over the past year and could not believe how much turnover there has been considering we have had no proper home. I would just like to thank all the committee members personally for everything they have done. The club house is looking very good and with the further improvements planned it can only get better. I have a real good feeling about next season and can now see a light at the end of the tunnel. MISA have set a very high total which they hope to contribute to the club, but it seems achievable. Things can only get better from here. Some good news on the development side would put the icing on the cake next month. <img src="/forum/images/graemlins/applaus.gif" alt="" />

I was there (England shirt, horizontal stripes) and I agree a lot of work went into that meeting. I didnt expect the accounts to come out and they were very positive. To be able to donate such a large amount to the club is quite something.

Its a challenging target but if we all chip in and turn up to the games and drink lots and lots of booze (which Im sure we will!) we'll have no trouble making the target.

Will be there next week and indeed next month at the Council meetings as usual.

All sounds good. Couldn't make it last night. What is the Supporters Club's target and what is happening next week?

Any chance of someone posting a resume of what was said?

Cheers. As I said, good news has been coming and as long as the good news continues to come I have no reason to have problems with anyone connected to the club. Progress cant be ignored, despite some anonymous commenters attempts to do exactly that.

In reply to Anon above the Treasurer announced that MISA had contributed £8400 to the club last year. However with coming back to Hartsdown and increased private functions in the Club house they are aiming to be contributing, if i'm not mistaken, £1000 per week next season. I have noticed that there have been no comments about some other good news that may come this week and so as not to tempt fate I will keep it in that vein. on that however the Non League paper today compounds that good news!!
