...some of the usual ESL whipping boys have made a good start to the season. Hullbridge unbeaten after three and Brentwood second in the table.

Nice to see though as most seasons results on the whole tend to become a bit predicitable.

I must say after the first couple of weeks of the season I think it is going to be the most competitive ESL in a long time. Brentwood were very good last night against us and I predict they will be top 6 this season. As for Hullbridge, seesing that they are Chelmsford City reserves they should be half decent. As you said its good that everyone is fighting for points. It's going to be interesting to see the points difference between top and bottom at the end of the year. I bet the points difference will be the smallest ever. I also think that the team who win the title will do so with the fewest number of points.
