2-1 Windsor

Woody SUFC

First goal was to Chesham thanks to a well taken own goal! After that windsor got started and casey crossed a brillaint ball into the area to allow a red shirt to poke it in with his knee!!

Second goal was the same but with a good finish on the end!

Good fun, few people who i've not seen at ressie games turned up and we even had a chav army join us!

Been good fun watching the ressies this season and nice to see them at least try and play decent football on a shocking pitch. Few for the future that's for sure!

Another good reserve team performance saw WEFC ressies finish the season unbeaten at home.

A goalless first half with limited chances saw Windsor finish on top although they should have had an early penalty.

The second half saw another penalty turned down followed by Chesham taking the lead when Arran Taylor-Ives slotted past his own keeper on 65 minutes.

Windsor replied within 10 minutes when Dave Case set Jon Case down the left and his cross was turned in by Daniel Blatchford.

With 10 minutes left Blatchford made it 2-1 when Jon Case's shot was parried onto the the knees of Blatchford and in.

Team:- Gardiner, Elford, T Woodcraft (J Woodcraft), Turner, Taylor Ives, J Case (G Woodcraft),Sacha, Coyne, Blatchford, Maqsood, Morris (D Case).

impressed with young Taylor-Ives, one for the future alongside Will. move over Jarvo young kids on the block.

Good all round team performance, shame about the own goal as Chesham didn't look like scoring whereas WEFC should have had more if they had gone for goal not glory.

Well done to the variety of players that have turned out and given their all, well done to the two managers who have coped with the changes every week thrust upon them. More local talent have indicated playing for WEFC next season.

Congrats to everyone involved.

Good crowd at the game, decent performance, teenage centre-back, Taylor-Ives was outstanding. Unfortunate to score an O.G. but looks a serious prospect for next season. Congrats to all who have ontributed to the team this season. Two or three young players here who are possible first team squad.
