According to BBC LD is hopefull of signing Debolla, as already reported by Chas.

The down side is like Charlie he does appear to be injury prone, but playing reports of him seem encouraging.

Well, apparently, it was between Craig Bellamy or Mark Debolla. Very similar players but, so my sources tell me, Bellamy's £50k a week wage demands were the stumbling block, so Liam had to focus on Debolla. Craig has now signed for another red team.

Neither does Daish which,as he pointed out, is why his player purchases have been slow and methodical rather than rushing in and signing the first 12 players available to calm the seething discontent on Riverview.

Or maybe jc, we should comment on a player when we don't think overall they are good enough for our club, when our manager is thinking of signing them?

In the trial games he hasn't looked bad, I just don't think he's the right man for the job.

Given that I've seen him play about half an hour of football for us and only one match for another club, I'm not qualified to say definitively.

He worked hard and looked willing to chase apparent lost causes at Eastbourne though.
