Early Christmas present, asked for, thoroughly recommended, I made sure I was given the 3CD limited edition one, quality oozing from every orifice.

I of course saw Sir Elt last Friday night.

 

I have his 1970-1990 Greatest Hits at home - the one with the monochrome blue cover, which in my opinion is a better album, seeing as he's only released crap in the last 12 years.

 

Actually, he's only released crap since 1984, but his first 14 years was quality, so I'll forgive him. Hasn't released anything of note since "Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues" and "I'm Still Standing" though.

I thought I put in a good EFM-style drinking performance, which resulted in the aforementioned "quiet-word-in-my-ear".

 

But yeah, if a w*nker-sign is the worst Gibbo and co. have to worry about, I don't think the club has too much of a social problem.

I was born in George Orwell's novel...Animal Farm. Or his other book. I can't remember. It was ages ago.

 

I agree with the goddam awful remake of CITW, and Nikita. But I do like Sacrifice, MIE is ok on the side of a bit crap, whilst the Lion King is one of my top 5 favourite films, so I have to disagree with you on that point.

Erasure are not still wicked. They were good up til about 1990, and then turned sh*t, rechurning the music they've always done, but not as well.
