4 -4- 2 Ware's the sense in that?

In the result!

Start with a strong back 4 and play the ball through midfield to the strikers who in turn score goals every now and then. Don't play 3 at the back and pump high balls to the tall defenders on the other side!

It worked today with us beng 4 - 0 winners away from home which should be the ideal platform to keep the same formation at home on Tuesday evening.

If an assistant referee flags for a foul, which is inside the penalty area, then is it not wise for the referee to award a penalty? I could understand it if the assistant referee was out of position, but he was in line! Mind you, we did score from the resultant free kick.

Couldn't agree more Andy. 4-4-2 works. Why fix it if it ain't broke??!!

I thought Magona had a good game on Saturday, but then the new player who replaced him in the second half looked extremely useful too. Nice to see a left footer at left back.

Just shows that this squad is capable of playing very attractive, attacking football - time to do it at home now as well as away.

Roll on Tuesday night - but LET'S PLAY ATTACKING FOOTBALL AT HOME!!!!

I find that Magona always looks like he is having a good game IF we are winning. His 100% tackling back and big long clearances are just what the doctor ordered. Its when he hoofs the balls up or clears the ball out of the ground when we are losing, that he becomes annoying.

And the lunge in the first half that almost cut the Ware fella in two,was a stonewall penalty as well.Only the refs stubborn refusal to give penalties on the day, saved him.
