AFC are the only club other than Bromley to have only lost two games so far. So I was going to say that I suspected their form was better than their 9th Place suggests. However, when you look at their results they haven't done that well against the better placed teams; lost at home to Tonbridge and H&R, plus home draws against Ramsgate, B'wood & Horsham.

 

I'm sure this will be a tough, hard fought game like last year. But with our unbeaten home league record we should be hopeful of a decent result.

 

On the strength of Saturdays win at Worthing and the other league results, our odds for the Title with Skybet have shortened from 25 to 16/1. I hope they're right!

The League is tight now and there is a lot to play for, so all games are going to be well contested, and with the playing surfaces deteriating its going to be a hard slog over the next couple of months.

 

Mental and physical strength will play a major part in determining who makes the top 5 spots.

They've only conceeded 3 goals away from home so far, and we've only leaked 3 at New Lodge. They've a few injuries as well so it could be a good time to play them. It's a big game for both sides, but if we can squeeze 4 points from the next two matches, that should put us firmly back in the pack.

 

Also our crowd will be boosted by a delegation of Norwegians who will be in attendance. Guiness maybe in short supply!
