we've got 23 first team contracted players, even you with you're limited knowledge of football must understand that we can't play them all at the same time, we're only allowed eleven like evryone else. didn't do to bad when he came on though did he.?

the midfield is capable but must be balanced any good midfield must have contrasting players, locke provides passes early, cowley tackles well these two are the right combo plus one other maybe any thoughts anyone

i'm a locke fan, but, big but, how does mick accomodate them all, we are rich in midfield terms, i agree, lockie does play good early balls, but is he fit enough for the 90 minurtes of a rough and tumble, div 1 promotion punch up, thats his responsibility, thats what he's paid for, as much as i admire him, he sometimes appears to go missing when the battles at its height, not questioning his spirit, only his ability to comedown to our level, i dont think he ever really has, in his own mind anyway, not a knock on adam, just an observation.

bit harsh but i know what you mean, personally i think that lockies better when hes got cowley to do the running alongside him, maybe with southon in the team and danny back shortly we'll see the best of lockie. his through passing and cahnge of direction is excellent,

dont quite understand that one misgit, then again maybe i wasn't to clear, i meant that jamie and danny will give lockie the space to play his football whilst they do the graft, some players need other players to create room for them.

i agree that locke, southon and cowley is the choice midfield that blend looks promising two growlers and one passer of the ball now what about the rest of the team anyone?burgers were great at thurrock sloppy first half much improved second though <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif" alt="" />

i think GK woods.Defence Batesy McGowan, Joppo and Scott Gooding. Midfield, Locky, Danny Cowley, wee man and jamie souten. up front, jonah and taff up front. Bench Kharine, Macca,marso,Crippsy and Nathan Elder. thats what i think would be the perfect team. but its up to mick marsden and i'm sure he will make the right decision. i have full confidence in him
