Overall A Good Day For Margate U16's

Recommended Posts

Margate U16's this morning finished their season off with a home win against Dover. Margate started the game strong and eventually came out 5-4 winners. They held their nerve after being 5-1 up with Dover on a late serge to salvage an unlikely point.

Full time 5-4

Overall Margate have under achieveed this year but will be pleased with a final day performance.

Immediately the U16's travelled over to Dane Park to contest in the Margate tournament.

The team won the final 1-0 against fellow Margate east kent opposition.

Overall it was a good day for the Margate U16's with 3 points from their final game and a winners trophy from the tournament!

The under 12's also did well at the Dane Park event, working their way to the final without conceeded a goal

Margate had all the play and were unlucky to draw 0 - 0, it then went to penalties which ended 4-4, then to sudden death, which they lost

Very good performance with the whole team playing well

Damn! I don't know about the deadlines. I know it's a whole new league. I believe the strongest league for youth U18's and below is the Kent Mush. Now with the formation of the Rymans League, the upper 18's should join. Play to the highest strenghts wink
