Again this season we have seen even more cup success at park lane and is it true that we could end up runners up. Well as we went down 2-0 to Gravesend could it be that we again have made hard work for ourselves. As well as being in every cup apart from the FA cup of course. So who thinks we can do it? and that we have the depth in the squad to not miss the injuries we have sustained. Personally i think we can who agrees with me?

I don't just think we can do it I fully beleive we will win the League. Gravesend I think shocked us and are a better team than we thought they would be.
I really beleive we will at least match them result for result and who knows by the time we finally get around to playing them away it could be very near the end of the season which will be a real 6 pointer.
We have only had one poor result in the league after all we did ourself justice against Burnley and with 10 Men we managed to hold Purfleet who are no muppets
Lets also look at the positives, Gregors & Dicks is back and I heard a rumour that Tily is very close to coming back into the team All we need now is Bods & chenners to get back and we will have our strongest squad back.

Well guess you are right and as we are close to getting our full squad back who will stop us. The Gravesend game was always going to be flat as we have just dropped out the FA Cup albeit heroically. So come on you yellows and show gravesend what the gulls can do at stonebridge road.

As an eternal pesimist I can see Gravesend winning their game in hand and going on unbeaten to win the league, but having said that, every team usually experiences both a dip in form and some injuries during a long season.
Hopefully we have had our form dip and our fair share of injuries whereas Gravesend may still be set to suffer both.(I regret that I am not that well informed about the Gravesend squad so I expect that somebody will tell me that they have already had a long injury list).
Given the above to be true I would hope that we can capitalise on events and go on to put the league safe long before the Gravesend match.
Oh dear! I'd better stop now as I'm beginning to turn into an optimist.

I suspect that your biggest problem will not be injuries but suspensions, as you seem to have several in the pipeline over the next few matches.
