FF News Posted October 17, 2017 Share Posted October 17, 2017 Torquay United head coach Gary Owers says he won't even pursue any players who aren't sure if they want to join the Gulls' fight against National League relegation. Owers says that one or two potential signings have turned United down, revealing: "There's players available, and some have said 'No' because they don't fancy coming to us in our situation. "Well, they don't bother me. If that's their attitude, I don't want them anyway. "Later on, when we're in a better position and they're still looking for a move, I won't want them then either." Owers, who has brought in loanees Callum Evans, Josh McQuoid and Rhys Murphy and non-contract winger Jennison Myrie-Williams so far, is now targeting another forward.
