I don't normally get home in time to see the 6pm Meridian news but I did tonight. It's frustrating to note they are ignoring our results presumably they only carried the Margate story because of their precarious position.

Come on Meridian Gravesend & Northfleet are in Kent too!

They used to cover us when we were in the old Beazer/Doc Martens Southern division and occasionally included goals too...

Somewhere on video I have a montage of Cotter's volley vs S*ittingbourne, Portway's 25yd header vs Orient and a Cliff Cant toe poke vs Kings Lynn or someone equally sh*te!

Someone within the sports news are of Meridian clearly doesn't like us it's as simple as that and will only get worse when the news reporting team are shipped out from New Hythe to Ashford.

We'd better start lobbying BBC London for some coverage I suppose because BBC Tunbridge Wells won't want to know.

I think Meridian have said previously that we arent technically in their area, and may people in Gravesend cant actually receive Meridian through an aerial.

Point taken but that doesn't seem to stop Meridian covering other stories and news items in Gravesend and Northfleet when they want to.

they are(just) the other side of the Medway, could that be the reason?
