Hey 2-1 to the Shots, 100% record in Feb & Gravesend and Canvey drop points...
Tuesday sees us hopefully continuing our mini-revival at the Fleet.
What with 14 or so games to go, if we win the lot we might just make top!
COME ON SHOTS!

You never know...
Didn't Croydon beat Canvey at home earlier in the season? The might just do the double on Tuesday, whilst you beat G&N - giving you another giant step.
One of these seasons you will get promoted - let's hope it is before you start to loose to many of your supporters.
How is life - post Borg?
Slough 4 Ever

Chris you not only need to win all of your matches but both Canvey and ourselves have to lose 4 or 5 matches.
Now while it is possible that one of us will I doubt that we both will. Settle for third place and don't try too hard tomorrow images/icons/smile.gif" border="0

100% in feb? Well yes but given that 2 of your 3 league matches were Croydon and Bedford (both bottom 3) that wouldn't look to be too difficult! Any ideas on your new manger yet?

Don't forget our victory against Hendon in the League Cup images/icons/smile.gif" border="0
Seriously, I've no idea who the new manager will be. Although our games have admittedly not been the most testing Stuart Cash has done a great job in raising morale - suddenly football is fun again (for the moment)

Hey Simon - don't knock Bedford. We're top of the form table you know (just as long as you restrict it to the last two games only!). Ok, ok, that's a bit of a desperate comment but what else have I had to be happy about in recent months?
Chris - it's great to see the dream is still alive for some but I have to agree with Dave - it's only a dream for this year for you. We'll see you next year - any chance of ejecting the racist element of your support before then?
Up the Eagles!

I think you must be getting nervous Dave.
Perhaps it's altitude sickness setting in, based on your teams position. Never mind you'll find yourselves slightly less high up about 10 ish tonite!
images/icons/grin.gif" border="0
Yes, for this season we may well be dreaming, but if (and somehow I doubt this) win all our last 17 league games...Also you don't need to lose any games barring tonite, a few draws and that'll put us in with a shout. As for our manager - who knows. But if Cash wins all the remaining...
And I would agree with Baldie, never knock the other team, especially at this level, any team can perform well on the day.

They may have been in the bottom three when we played them. But they were Games that the idiot Borg was incapable of winning.
If only we had listened to the Enfield supporters prior to his appointment.
As for manager, now that Fergie has ruled himself out I might go for Quinten (unless you're unlucky non Shots fans won't understand, but you would have heard from!!)
Either that or me!!!

Phil,
Aahhhhhh not Quenten (or however you spell his name
Have you applied for the job? Its got a certain ring to it, hasn't it Phil Davies' red 'n' blue army.
A choice between you and John Beck or Steve Wignall? You've got my vote images/icons/smile.gif" border="0

Too right I'm nervous. Not about tonight, but having come this far I really don't want to see us blow it.
I can't believe that we are now in a position where we can think of coming second as a failure. If you had offered me that at the beginning of the season I would have taken your arm off. My personal definition of success at the start was:
1. Top 5 in the league
2. Reach the 1st round of the FA Cup
3. Have a good run in the Trophy
4. Retain the Kent Senior Cup for the third year.
Looking good so far
images/icons/grin.gif" border="0 images/icons/grin.gif" border="0 images/icons/grin.gif" border="0

You might just scrape the first objective...but the rest seem achieved.
Ps
Phil Davies ahead of those two 's gets my vote too. The bandwagon has started, best get your CV in quick

Well there goes Cash's manager of the month award.
You looked a far better side than earlier in the season though. I wish you still had to play Canvey, because I think you would beat them now

PANTS!
Oh well, just have to keep plugging away and praying for some miracle now. Think the Fleet might just do it this year though.
Now where's carjams thread about conceding ?
