it looks certain that we will drop a league as we cannot afford to stay where we are £400000 at least. all the players over 23/24 are out of contract and can leave if they wish the youyger ones ie smith oates pullman abott are still under contract.it is still very possible that hartsdown will be ready by end of august as standards for a lower league are nowhere near as stringent and work will begin within 3 weeks.this is basically what came out of the meeting <img src="/images/graemlins/affig.gif" alt="" /> [color:"blue"] [/color]

I was under the impression that it was the younger players that were without contract and that it was only the oldies, over that age of 23/25 that were tied to a contract.Forgive me if I have got it wrong but that again is what I have been led to believe though really and truly just getting back to hartsdown in whatever league is the priority i.m.o. to that of which players we have and dont have at this time.We need our ROOTS back first then water them and see things grow again.

Is the £400k in addition to our current income stream , or total requirement.

I suspect the latter.

 

However, did i not read an official club statement about 8 months ago saying the GG lottery bought in £10k a week.

 

At the time i thought it a misprint and unbelievable-does anybody know the facts on the GG lottery-maybe as previously requested we chould support it more .

 

Coming back to the £400k shortfall-ironic is,nt it that if say we played 25 home games and averaged £10 per person from crowds of 1500 that we could get with a reasonable team playing at Margate then that would bring in £375K
