why has devolpment at new lodge halted

Well, I don't like New Lodge. Walking down that lane when it's dark can be quite frightening if you are on your own.

I much prefer Basildon. Some very nice bars there although one or two of the people there are a bit, well, rough (if you know what I mean).

But it doesn't matter where we play. Our players have got some of the cutest little bums in the football league - I can't wait for next season.

The major issue is one of space - the conference requires grounds to have a capacity of 4,000 with potential for 6,000. Can you imagine trying to get 4-6,000 people down the lane to the ground? 'Mare. The planning experts have also informed us that were we to submit the plans we want they would almost certainly get "called in" by central government which would result in lengthy delays, hugely expensive consultations and no guarantee of success.

Worth reminding you that we're not abandoning the lodge, development will still continue there, of training facilities, conference and leisure stuff as well.

Um, excuse me little man who runs this discussion board. You've got me down as wash the kit and clean the boots.

I beg your pardon!

With my nails? In my job it's very important to have nice hands, you won't catch me messing around with dirty football boots.

Please change my designation at once. Life is dificult enough with my varicose veins, let alone 'washday red' hands.

As in real life, you have to work hard to get rewarded...
