Is there anybody out there who can explain why our game against Worcester Park on October 6th, that was abandoned with us leading 1-0 with 20 minutes to go, is to be re-played. The League have made the decision based on findings by the Surrey County FA and to some extent their hands are tied but clearly justice has not prevailed in this instance.

 

Given the circumstances of the match, this could set a precedent.

 

Lammas manager sent off with first ten minutes. Gave his name and removed from dug out area. FACT

Worcester Park player sent off 20 minutes to go with the Lammas leading 1-0 FACT

WP manager objects and an altercation ensued which resulted in the WP manager being sent off. He refused to give his name whilst at the same time, the match referee was struck by a football on the back of the head and he decided that was enough and abandoned the game. FACT

 

 

Outcome:

 

Lammas manager fined £125.00.

WP manager fined £50.00.

Match to be re-played.

 

Beggars belief!!!
