Rupert Murdoch and BskyB ruined football as i knew it. Ruined my enjoyment of watching a game i couldn't be at. Teased me with offering me a match but at too high a cost! I decided to vote with my purse strings and found Non League Football.

 

He's a thieving git, but did me the biggest favour. He's responsible fot the biggest divide in football and should be hung drawn and quartered.

 

Apart from that he's probably a very nice man

I gave up watching pro football for non-league but ended up spending far, far more money by getting sucked into running clubs!

I agree that sky are ripping people off - I asked them for a quote to supply Sky Sports to our clubhouse (net profit about £100 a week) and was told that it would be linked to our rateable value and would be almost £400 a month! When I said that we got a 50% rate reduction as a sports club, they said "tough sh1t" or words to that effect!.

My thoughts on 'Sky' are known, along with my cunning plan to get all non-league clubs at level 6 and above to get 'Sky' for cost in their clubhouses.

 

Leaving that aside for one moment, I do agree however with Scudamores plan for the 39th Premiership game per season to be played in 'exotic' locations.
