Horley Town v Ash

Ash started the game very well with good posesion but did not really penetrate with it,then perhaps Horley got a goal against the run of play after about 8 mins.Then after about 10-15 mins the Horley left back got sent off after arguing with the ref about a decision after being tackled quite badly himself.Horley had to go to a 4-4-1 formation.Horley played the remainder of the game so well defensively,with 2 good strong banks of 4 ,with Ash having a lot of possesion but unable to break Horley down,What a great result to finish 1-0 winners.I would like to say that the ref was terrible.Ash look quite a good side and should not be that low in the league.

I was injured so couldnt play against Horley. What was the pitch like? Always look forward to playing there.

 

70 minutes with 10 men and a 1-0 win is a good result and a blow for Ash United. Have to get 3 points at home to Reading Saturday.

Yes pitch is not bad,it is having a lot of work for next season should be the best surface next year.Your boys looked like a good outfit should be higher in the league.But all games seem to be difficult we have beat or had good games against the likes of Cove,Camberley,Guildford Bedfont Green but lost to Dorking,Bookham but what a poor surface and Sandhurst.
