Looking good for Kentish Town after that result! Almost certain to finish in top two now - would take defeat at Cheshunt plus Hoddesdon beating Haringey to produce any other result.

We've all seen tense finishes and unexpected out-turns before, but I can't see Kentish Town not making it now. I'd better prepare myself for a trip to Copthall!

Another two goals, what can I say!
Yes I was at Broxbourne Borough rubbing shoulders with SSML Chairman Pat Burns who was at Goffs Lane to present the Reserve Division 2 East Championship trophy to Broxbourne, how shall I put it, we had an interesting chat. Also caught up with two of 'our' former players 'the great' Bradley Drysdale and Anthony Nicholas who played for Broxbourne.

Didn't realise he was that tall! Can you elaborate on your above cryptic comment, or were you in the boardroom? Oh! they haven't got one any more so you must have been outside. Tell us more!

You didn't really need to ask did you? Another night slagging me off no doubt but fortunately everyone knows where the bitcher is coming from . He cannot contain his glee when we drop points and there is no doubt what result he is praying for next week.It will kill him if we manage to go up with KT who it has to be said fully deserve it.

Actually, in his warped way, he probably wants Borough to go up with Kentish Town. He will still be able to criticise you for seasons to come yet for not taking the sleeping giant that is Haringey Borough into the Conference a the very least!

My best wishes to all three clubs tussling for the top two places. It is unfortunate that one will have to miss out.

Lets not get above ourselves. If we go up it would be nice to actually stay there for more than a season although winning games this season has been more enjoyable than getting stuffed every week in the Premier. We have had good games and made many new friends along the way. If we don't go up then we will still enjoy next season so, as they say, whatever will be will be.

Horace - Are you saying that you were present at Goffs Lane last night, weren't you at your own Reserve game with London Colney. I certainly didn't spot anybody who resembled you or rather the photograph that HTFCew posted of you a few weeks ago.

Oh i forgot Horace, how can anyone forget his classic quotes a couple of weeks ago

"Latest from Garden walk Royston 1 HBFC 0 What a surprise

"latest from Garden walk Royston 2 HBFC 0 What a surprise

No, in his "warped way" as you put it he does not under any circumstances want us to go up because he will have to give me and all the others who work so hard some credit and he could never bring himself to do that.

HTFCew - Thanks for posting that as I had missed it due to the bombardment I'm getting today from the likes of the BBC and Sky Sports, it's actually very complimentary and I wish I could have been there to press his flesh
