Game of 2 halves...

If ever the term "a game of two halves" is to be used ...this was it.

First half - Town dominated the game and looked like they would / could score for fun.

Second half - Several changes and a very poor performance from Town.

However, Brimmo were very tough and gave everything, so well done to them.

If this is how Brimmo are to play every week, they will do very well this season. Good Luck.

On the positive - Perhaps the 2nd half helped the Management Team work out who should or - more to the point - should not be retained from the "current" large squad !!

I think what people have to understand is that it was some players first game, so they are not match fit. Chances were not created in the second half as they were in the first. I think is was Jeff Hammond, Ricci Crace, Rudi Hall, Mitch Hahn, Scott Honeyball's first game. These are all top first team players who are proven at this level and all looked off the boil. Give them a few games to get fit, and to get their match fitness up and you will see what they can do!

Agree totally, its about getting match practice before the big kick off and identifying the top 18 players who will blend to perform week in week out together over the course of a season.
