Hanwell 1 - Brimsdown 1. Some very poor decisions, against both teams, that had one of Hanwells committee men nearly having a seizure through shouting at the officials so much!!! Hanwells goalscorer was blatantly offside, by at least a yard. Even the Hanwell supporters were saying how far he was off. Could be argued that Hanwell were the better team, but Brimsdown showed courage and never let their heads drop, although they went in at half time 1-0 down. They deserved the equaliser, and nearly nicked the win, in the final minute, when a headed ball hit the bar and went over. The pitch caused a few problems, as it had not been cut, so the ball was stopping dead, with no bounce.

It looked good, Bosman, and has certainly held up well after all the rain. There were no boggy patches. Perhaps it was still too wet to try to cut it shorter. Doing that would damage the surface. I hope my remark was not seen as a criticism of their pitch, which it definitely was'nt.

hanwell was defo the better side but couldnt score, if they had got a 2nd then there would have been at least another 3 or 4 following on but they too there foot off the pedle in 2nd half, really should have been 3 up at half time but poor finishing by hanwells number 7 like a header what went wide from 1 yard kept brimsdown in the game, and in 2nd half o'brien missed a header from 2 yards out then in last 5mins hanwells captain was 1 on 1 but passed instead of shoot to a player who was off side, good 2nd half by brimsdown but they did not create a chance, even there goal was sloppy.

All about opinions, jacksparrow, but ifs, buts and maybes do not win matches, which is why I will not comment on any of Brimsdowns. The only things you have'nt commented on are your original post, which you were wrong about, and the Hanwell goal that was offside, so from your estimate that they should have won by about 3 or 4 goals, the truth is they should have lost by 1 - 0. If Brimsdown had Theo Walcott playing for them they could have won by 3 or 4 goals, but they did'nt, maybe they can sign him before the next match!!

Hanwell 5 clear chances, 1 goal from an offside position. Brimsdown half a chance 1 legitimate goal., (we won't mention the ball that hit the bar in the last minute, or the shots that just went over the bar as you don't seem to think they are chances) Seems Brimsdown are the better team, because they make every (half) chance count. Hopefully you will have your rose tinted glasses off, for the next match. Good luck for the rest of your season.

lol... if you call shots from 20 and 30 yards which go high and wide over the goal chances then were obviously on a different planet because then hanwell must of had at least 15 chances.... what most normal people call a chance is a clear chance i.e 3 missed headers from 1 and 2 yards out with nobody to beat and 1 on 1s thats a chance, after the game brimsdown was more than happy with the point because they knew they got lucky, now come on please be honest and accept you should have lost that game.. good luck for rest of season.

Brimsdown were not happy to get the draw. They know they should have won because, be honest, Hanwells goal should not have been allowed. I am not having a go at Hanwell, they are a good team, but you seem to forget Brimsdown are building a whole new team from last season, and only now are they starting to gel, so I think they deserve any result they get. They had a good result against Berkhamsted on Tuesday, and held up well to Hanwell yesterday. For all the mistakes that you are saying Hanwell made, then you can't think they deserved to win. In fact they deserved to lose. From having so many shots on goal, and missing them all to Brimsdown, in your words, having only half a chance and beating your defence and keeper.

We will never agree on any of the above, jacksparrow, but the result still stands. 1 - 1 Lets both just hope that Brimsdown continue to improve and that Hanwell start to put all of their chances away! Then we will both be happy.

Just out of interest, do you agree with the other Hanwell supporters that your goal should not have been allowed? Be honest now!!!!
