an idea....that maybe people here could help me with.

Thought I'd start a City Legends page. Obviously the likes of Clark, Minter etc. would be on there but need suggestions including details of apps , goals, time with club ect.

anyone??

oh and if anyone has pictures from old programmes that would be great!

Programme? I must have missed something

What abount Shaun Close (portly chap who used to play for Barnet - not all that good but provided amusement)

Also remember a City player who was a Brentford legend (not Cockram) - but there was a local Brentford fan who came to watch Detsi Kruzinsky (I apologise for the spelling )

Ah I see - the great cigared one has been in the papers as well over his dislike of De Gaulle

Shaun Close may have run a kebab shop in Hemel

I thought Wayne Andrews was good but he didn't stay long enough to become a ledgend! I will ask my dad. I cant ask my Grandad cos he passed away last week. He could remember the saints team from the 1920's! But he could never remember wot he did the day before!

I seem to remember that he was really quite good - obvious that he had played a decent level - and that he looked like he was genuinely enjoying playing

Detzi Kruzinski, Shaun Close, Rob Haworth, Justin Gentle, Greg Howell, Richard Watkiss

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!!

How many games have you people watched!

By all your standards it seems that anyone who pulled on the shirt is a legend, therefore my 5 minute cameo apperance in goal during Steve Clark's (a proper legend) testimonial qualifys me as one (i'm fully aware that as a supportor i am already a legend)

I think Billy Minter, Rob Haworth, Steve Clark, Lenny Piper, Kevin Mudd, Simon Martain(he is already a ledgend because he has been with the club for a long time and he was on the bench at the F.A Cup match at wisbech that time! (i just watched the video again.) Bill Ratty who ran down the wing and scored that suberb goal!
