Whats coulsdons ground like?

Brunty, Coulsdon's place has been run into the ground over the years. If someone went there with a few pennies they would have a gold mine. The clubs grounds are massive and the club house is huge but under used and only a small section of it is open. Changing rooms are diabolical. Pitch is large, has a slight slope but has been neglected like the rest of the place. Its a shame because nice club nice people but no idea. I think you would do well to win there tomorrow.

Coulsdon, which is Netherne, has been upgraded a lot over the years and not run into the ground. Have you been in the changing rooms? The home changing room is large light and airy. All of the club is open but it is all sectioned off when football is on. If you ever come here again ask and you can be shown around. You don't know what you are talking about. There are rules which govern leases and planning permission so you can't develop without the correct things in place. We have had to work hard to keep it open and keep football played there. The pitch is in a better state than it has been and it is much better than a lot of other clubs - at least it is covered in grass unlike some. How do you know the club is underused? You don't seem to know much about the club. Also, as a CASC all money goes back into the club and it is not there for someone to make a fortune out of. If you would like to help (all run by volunteers) come along and upgrade our changing rooms in June. Or, perhaps you would like to give us a few pennies - no return though.

Dottie - maye tne home changing room is ok but the away changing room is shocking

pitch was ok but the weather made it heavy during the game better than alot of pitches we have played on this season.

Dottie- Nobody is arguing the hard work and effort that has gone in to keeping Coulsdon football club going over the past several seasons.

My comments were not aimed at slagging the club off it was a simple answer to the question posted by Brunty.

Of course you are unhappy at the comments because it is your club but I can assure you that the away changing room and the facilities in that changing room are disgusting! as for the rest of the club house it has been updated very slightly and yes only a small part of the club house is open in match days which again is what I said. Most of the clubs that play in CCL struggle week to week finanically with the extreme costs that go with a team in that division and with the F.A rules that are coming in about ground grading alot more money will need to be spent ensuring that teams stay up.

As for the pitch yes iit is covered in grass but that grass at the beginning and end of most seasons is far too long and the pitch is neglected.

No club aims to make a fortune from football most do it for the love of the game like Coulsdon and unfortunatley there are no big sponsors out there to chuck their money about.

All clubs are run by volunteers whom receive nothing but hassle when things go wrong.

Good luck for the rest of the season and hopefully you will get that first win you deserve.
