I thought Libel was written and slander was oral?

Claire - All blokes can appear to be lovely if they want to. Perhaps you're just used to them choosing not to. <img src="/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

As for Leslie - who knows - well I suspect ESG probably does. I wonder how much Leslie's lawyers were paid?

Helen. The Iraq war. The John Leslie situation (more serious? Allegations of a rape etc, more serious to the person involved surely). Thornsy's top 5 Hollyoakes (sp?) birds. The General Forum in General. Threads to provide discussion amongst the users.

Why just say?

Well Claire probably thinks i'm a idiot and John Leslie is lovely so I guess she is just a bad judge of character, add Justin Timberlake is lovely and Robbie Williams is the best thing in music at the moment just confirms this.

John Leslie was probably being lovely because you were on his hitlist, you don't get girls into them 'rape situations' without being nice first.

I'd say it is a very serious subject and one that is important to all of us. If Leslie is as guilty as ESG says he is then it just goes to show the sorry state of the justice system in this country if someone can get away with such a serious crime as rape. What are other victims (not just of rape) going to think when they see how this case was handled? No wonder so few women (and men) report such a crime.

Honestly, I really do despair sometimes.
