when do we tell ?

Recommended Posts

having read of the demise of bedfont and bedfont green. on this site. when do the good people that run these clubs, think they should be telling supporters /local public future supporters, what the plans are. have looked at both websites, not a word. i thought dougs goal was to unite the bedfont area. why all the cloak and dagger stuff. maybe green pea can enlighten us, or has he still not heard anything re this subject. when can we see bedfont town/united try to get there gates up from the 15/20 of last season.coffee%20%282%29.gif

Hi Fan - "no cloak and dagger stuff" at all, there was a press release 2 weeks ago about the name change (http://images.pitche...75122434_1.jpeg) and previous to that about the groundshare, but admittedly our website admin hasn't been great since the season came to a close. With the recent sad news of Bedfont FC's resignation from football it isn't fair that we celebrate positive news such as The FA awarding the ground a D grade required for step 4.

whats the ground had done to it??

anything done with the pitch??

Yes, contractors have been instructed to replace it with a new pitch, work started yesterday I've been told.

Work carried out includes new stand (50 seats), additional ladies WC, post & rail infill, new dugouts, new road with emergency access gates installed, additional turnstile in opposite corner, press seating x2 with lighting, emergency lighting in both stands, new female officials changing room and probably some other things that I've missed. FA passed it on Wednesday.
