The Houhgton Regis Cup is defined in the SSMFL handbook as being "for achievements outside of the SSMFL".

 

Can someone explain what Risborough Rangers achieved "outside of the SSMFL".

 

I know they finished 5th in Div 2 and made the semi-final of the Challenge Trophy but these are obviously WITHIN the SSMFL.

 

Did they reach the last 16 of the FA Vase for instance, or have I missed something.

That should have read "special award" - now changed - thanks for pointing it out.

Don't think the Houghton Regis was awarded this time. Not sure what the special award is either - did they say something about efforts made to improve the ground?
