Bethnal Green to be kicked out of cup??

Bethnal Green will not be kicked out of no cup. The penalty shoot out was misdirected by the match referee.

BGU told the referee at end of extra time due to Eton Manor having a player sent off that Bethnal Green should only nominate ten penalty takers to even the numbers up with Eton Manor. The referee told Bethnal Green he knew what he was doing. The penalties went ahead, with Bethnal Green winning 10-9. ie Eton Manor lodging a complaint saying numbers were uneven giving Bethnal an advantage.

We at Bethnal Green are fighting this because why should we be punished for Eton Manor having a player sent off for violent conduct. There is a League comittee meeting on 26th October to decide the fate. Thanks

Total and utter crap! The ref made a mistake. How on earth can the league order a reply? The ref should be banned or sanctioned not the football clubs. The ref was told by several people that Bethnal Green had to nominate a player not to take a penalty other than the keeper. The ref just ignored everyone's advice. If the league order a reply then it will show that the league is an utter joke!

I can't see how you can call Eton Manor Cheats. They never tried to con people the referee made the mistake, and it is in the Laws Of the Game. The teams must be evenly matched in numbers if penalties are taken. I can understand the view that it is wrong as the team that still has more players on the pitch look like they are being punished but the Law is the Law. Who was the Ref ? Why didn't the Lineo's speak up. maybe they will make the teams just replay the penalties rather than the whole game that would be funny to watch.

One question. If you told the league there was a ineligable player playing for the other team and they said no there isn't. Would you then appeal after the game ?? Of course you would you would do anything (within the rules) to try to win - that's all Eton manor have done. Would it have made a difference to the score line if one BGU player had to step down ? possibly so they have to make the appeal

Eton Manor lost fair and sqaure. The amount of penalty takers is irrelevant. Yes, it was the referee's mistake which is why it is pretty dirty of Eton Manor to use this to try and force a replay.

If an opponent plays an inelible player THEY have broken the rules.

In the merseyside derby the referee sent off an Everton player wrongly. That was the referee's mistake. Are Evertong lodging an appeal to have the game overturned? No. This is no different. The referee made a mistake as referee's do week in week out.

Eton Manor you should be ashamed.

Put up and shut up.

I have to agree with the Dr on this one. Yes, the ref made an error, but they shouldn't replay the game because of it.

Kirk if you are going to comment, be honest, your player squealed like a baby crying he had broken his leg to get the Eton Manor player sent off, only to run back into position as soon as the ref gave the red card.

Ref was very poor whole game, .
