Free Entry At Romford

Recommended Posts

Next Sunday (23rd October) Romford are holding a special non league day at their Rymans League North match with Leiston, KO 3pm.

We are giving free entry to all armed forces personnel, and the police, fire and ambulance services, on production of their ID card.

We are also giving free entry to anyone under the age of sixteen.

We are also offering half price entry to season ticket holders of other clubs.

(normal price is £8 adults and £5 concessions)

For those traveling by car the address is

Aveley football Club

Millfield

Mill Road

Aveley

RM15 4SJ

It should be a cracking afternoons entertainment between two of the best footballing sides in the league, and a very warm welcome is guaranteed. Hope to see as many of you there as possible.

Bit misleading the title of this thread, thought it was going to offer free entry to all

I think it would be a good idea for people from all clubs to come and see for themselves how it pans out. A nice cheap afternoon out, decent bar, and great food on offer, plus the football.

There's been lots of positive press coverage, and enormous interest shown locally, and a great match played in a cracking atmosphere is assured. Anyone expecting to come on Sunday would be advised to try and arrive early and sample the great food and hospitality that Romford Football Club are quite rightly famous for.

LOL,ham it up Alan, let's see if you can get 150 in

Attendances are always difficult to predict Rob, but the weather looks favourable, and the amount of interest shown has been amazing, so we can hopefully expect a massive gate. The really important purpose of this exercise though is for everyone at our club to show our appreciation to all our brave service personnel, police, fire and NHS workers who give us all so much, and for all to often very little reward.

Bollox Alan, while it's admirable that you are letting these people in for nothing let's not kid ourselves, the whole exercise is aimed at bringing in more fans.If you wanted to reward them then why not give them free season tickets?

We offer free season tickets to under 12's as long as they are accompanied by an adult, this is not to reward the little kiddies who have been good at school but to a) get more kids involved with the club and B) get their parents over!!!
