FF News
Buxton manager Martin McIntosh has dipped into the loan market again to bring back former favourite Bradley Barraclough to the Silverlands for an initial one month. Barraclough, currently playing at Bradford Park Avenue, first signed for the Bucks in December 2011 on loan from Lincoln City by then manager Scott Maxfield and his goals were a major factor in the avoidance of relegation that season. (Scoring 11 times in 18 matches) He went on to be named as the supporters Player-of-the-Season, despite only playing half a term, and his best moment was undoubtedly the solo effort goal scored at Gigg Lane against FC United of Manchester. After leaving Lincoln City, Bradley signed for Gainsborough Trinity before moving on to Bradford PA. Barraclough goes straight in to the squad to play at Belper Town on Saturday in a match the Bucks need to win to get their play-off chances back on track. Belper are currently bottom of the league with only 3 wins all season but with several ex-Bucks in their squad, including Michael Towey, Jon Froggatt and Jonathan Williams, it is sure to be a competitive encounter.
