Witham town Fc have announced the signing of former QPR forward Marcel Henry-Francis.

The 20 year old had spent three years with Rangers before doing a years pro at Birmigham City. He was then released and went on to spend a year with Crystal Palace, where he spent time on loan with Dulwich Hamlet.

Brad King said "Marcel has pedigree, he is lightning quick and has an eye for goal. Marcel now gives us a plan B as we lacked pace up front when needed. He wants to work hard and put himself in shop window. I spoke to Gavin Rose about how he was on loan last season and he spoke highly of him."

The club also confirmed the capture of former player Paul White, who rejoins from Ryman Divison One North club Heybridge Swifts.

King commented "We never really wanted to see whitey leave in the first place but he felt he may get more game time elsewhere. I have huge respect for the bloke and we need winners if we are to stay up.

He knows what the club means to us having played massive part in promotion to this league and we will do all we can to stay in the Prem. He will play a big part for the remainder of season.
