FF News
Winger Craig Mahon has today signed a new two-year contract with Vanarama Conference club Chester. The 25-year-old joined the Blues at the beginning of last season, after being voted as Vauxhall Motors' Player of the Season back in the 2012/13 season. The Irish winger has been in terrific form this term, scoring the winning goal in the FA Cup tie at Southend. Mahon has since been nominated for 2014/15 goal of the season for three separate strikes against Alfreton, Dartford and the above mentioned goal at Roots Hall. Mahon becomes the fifth player to commit to the club in recent weeks, following Ben Heneghan, Ryan Higgins, Jon Worsnop and Michael Kay in agreeing new deals.
