Five commit to Darts for next season

Dartford, relegated from the Vanarama Conference, have announced that Elliot Bradbrook, Tom Bradbrook, Deren Ibrahim, Ryan Hayes and Danny Harris have all signed contracts for next season.

Elliot Bradbrook originally joined the Darts in the summer of 2009 from Maidstone United.

He played junior football as a youth before joining Maidstone, who he re-joined in the summer of 2008 after a spell at University in the USA and after a further season with them joined Dartford.

An inspirational captain and leader Elliot he was quick to commit himself to Dartford for a further season.

Brother Tom re-joined the Darts having previously played for the reserve side

He has had spells at Margate and Leatherhead and scored 26 goals last season in the Tanners’ promotion-winning season.

Ibrahim has progressed through the Dartford youth system and has had several loan periods with Maidstone and Leatherhead to gain experience of playing at a higher level.

At Leatherhead last season, along with Tom Bradbrook, he won a championship medal, gaining promotion from Ryman Division One to the Ryman Premier.

He is also a coach for the Dartford Academy players.

Hayes is Dartford’s longest-serving player having joined the club towards the end of the 2004/05 season from Kent League side Slade Green.

He quickly established himself as a crowd favourite with his skilful wing play and has now amassed over 350 appearances for the club and the scorer of many vital and spectacular goals.

Harris has just completed his sixth season with the Darts having joined from Bishop`s Stortford where he had spent the previous two seasons.

He is a fast and skilful forward and has also played for East Thurrock United.

Manager Tony Burman said: "I am delighted to have these players committed early and signed for next season."
