FF News
Darlington manager Martin Gray says that top scorer Graeme Armstrong is on the road to recovery. “Army” underwent an operation on his pancreas a fortnight ago, and according to Grey, the striker was discharged from hospital last weekend and is now recuperating at home. “I’ve swopped texts with Graeme, he’s home now and recovering well, which is good news for his road to recovery. Hopefully, he’ll be back for the start of pre-season training.” Armstrong went in where it hurts against the Bamber Bridge keeper outside the penalty area in the last minute of the play off final, and had to seek hospital treatment for a painful injury which forced him to miss most of the after match celebrations.
