FF News
Worcester City have announced that club captain Ellis Deeney has committed his future to the Vanarama National League North club by signing a new one-year deal. At the end of last season Deeney was honest with the club advising that he wished to see what full-time offers may be available to him during the early part of the summer. However, he also wanted to be fair to Worcester City because he feels the club have been very good to him and there is a trust that has built up between the management team and the player as demonstrated in last season's successful transition of players to a higher level. He can see that by playing regularly and enjoying his football then this may well present opportunities to progress at a later stage but currently staying at the club is considered to be the best option for him.
