FF News
Leek Town manager Lee Casswell lamented the postponement of Saturday’s home fixture against high-flying Shaw Lane Aquaforce due to a snow-bound, frozen Harrison Park surface. “We were looking forward to the game having prepared well in training to make it difficult for them but there’s not a lot you can do about the weather. “The car park was iced over and it would have taken a great deal of man-power to clear the pitch. “Coming on the back of a 3-0 defeat in our last game, the postponement gives us a break before the trip to Sheffield next Saturday. “So, I’m not too disappointed – it gives us time to regroup with Ant Danylyk returning to the squad for Saturday’s game,” he added.
