FF News
Around 500 tickets have already been sold for South Shields' Boxing Day derby match with Hebburn Town at Mariners Park. The tickets went on sale on Saturday, and within just a few days of that, the Ebac Northern League Division Two fixture already looks set to attract a huge crowd. Shields have already had three home attendances of over 1,000 this season, with the highest being for their last league match, a 9-1 win over Tow Law Town. That drew in 1,412 spectators - the highest in the history of the Northern League's second tier. Ticket prices for the South Tyneside derby are £5 for adults, £3 for students and over-65s, and £1 for under-16s. Season ticket holders will gain entry as normal. Tickets can be booked and paid for by calling into Mariners Park, in Shaftesbury Avenue, or by calling 0191 454 7800. Payments can be made in person in cash or by card, while tickets can be posted out for a £1 postage and packaging cost.
