Vase draw throws up potential big North East derby clash

The draw for the FA Vase Fourth Round was made on Monday and it has thrown up the possiblity of a big North East derby.

Ambitious South Shields, who include former Sunderland star Julio Arca in their ranks, could face local rivals and current FA Vase holder North Shields, provided both clubs can come through their respective outstanding Third Round ties against Morpeth Town and Runcorn Town.

Favourites with the bookmakers are Hereford and they have been handed a home tie against Leicester Nirvana, whilst Steve Claridge's Salisbury must travel to AFC Dunstable.
