FF News
Christmas is coming early for fans at Ryman North Thamesmead Town and they are being urged to look and act the part. To thank their supporters for the backing they're giving the Mead this season, the club is slashing admission prices for a 'Patron's Day' this Saturday when they host Bury Town and then laying on a Christmas party for fans, players and officials after their last home game before Christmas, AFC Hornchurch on Monday 21 December. Officials announced on Monday that adults would be admitted for just £5 to see this weekend's clash with the Blues at Bayliss Avenue after the club's patron - the Rt Hon Teresa Pearce, MP for Erith & Thamesmead - came forward to sponsor the clash. Any U16s accompanying paying adults will also be admitted for free. Supporters are also being urged to don their Christmas jumpers on Saturday and help boost the club's donation to ITV's TEXT SANTA appeal which takes places on Friday before the weekend's action kicks off. A bucket collection will be held during the afternoon in aid of the appeal and their will be a festive prize for the fan with the best jumper. A club spokesman said: "On behalf of TTFC, we wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!" Source: www.isthmian.co.uk Source
